The Notebook for me has always created this set of emotions that I have never been able to understand. From anger to passion to all other emotions imaginable. This movie for has touched me in so many ways possible. The scene I've decided to choose is from my favorite movie The Notebook. This is one of my favorite scenes too. In this scene Allie has decided that spending the weekend was wring with Noah while getting in her car before leaving his house Noah beings to ask her what she wants. And she responds that its not as simple as it seems in this scene Noah tells her to stop thinking about what other people what and to think about what she wants and how she wants to be happy. All he wants form her is to be happy. Then he recites my favorite quote from the movie/book, "So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me... everyday.” Because he wants nothing else than to spend the rest of his life like those weekends they had.

In this scene I remember feeling my heart swell at that beautiful moment that Noah confessed what he wanted even if it took hard work and dedication. I felt the love that radiated through them. The pull towards eachother that they could never deny. This scene made me feel like love is possible. Finding that special someone that fit with you like a puzzle piece is real. It also made me realize that even when you lose someone if they come back then it was meant to be because that magnetic pull towards one another is fate. I also learned from this scene that when you want something you must strive for it and dive in it like if it was your life and to never give up on what you want. Noah fought for Alli becaseu he wanted her to be his. This movie has touched me in so many way but this scene particularly did it for me.

  1. That's my favorite book! And Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author! Sparks is very good about making you feel the emotions that are portrayed in the story... I'm glad you enjoyed the movie as much as I enjoyed the book. :)
